LEAD PASTORS | STEVE & JEANA PIXLER

It all started when...

Pastors Steve and Jeana Pixler dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal—to help people find their way into freedom for all of life. They wanted to connect people with God so that they might reach their full potential, and they wanted to help people discover the power of a relationship with God far superior to the emptiness of dead religion.

With the help of an amazing Launch Team, a group of volunteers committed to seeing this dream become a reality, Freedom Life Church launched September 10,  2017.

From the beginning, Freedom Life Church determined to primarily reach those who do not know God and those who are tired of dead religion. We planned to reach them through weekend services and to guide them into discipleship through the relationships of small groups. The life-giving message of the gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of Freedom Life Church is what attracts people to call our church home.

We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to seek God with passion!

A personal message from Pastors Steve and Jeana

Our driving passion is to help people find their way into freedom for all of life. This passion was born out of our own experience.

Both Jeana and I were raised in a very strict Pentecostal denomination. While we honor our heritage and appreciate our past, yet we learned from our experience how empty religion can be, especially religion built around performance-based rules and rituals.

Jeana and I served for seventeen years as lead pastors of a Fort Worth church in our former denomination. In 2010 we began a long, difficult journey out of our religious tradition. By 2014, we had transitioned into a non-denominational congregation. In 2016, we sold our church property in Fort Worth and made the decision to launch as a brand-new church in Mansfield, TX.

That's how the vision for Freedom Life Church was born.

Due to our long history with traditional religion, we feel particularly called to invite people from all denominational backgrounds to experience Jesus in a new way. We are uniquely equipped to help those hurt by religion find healing and hope in Christ.

If that's you, if you are exhausted with religion and long for a Spirit-filled relationship with God, we can help. Reach out. Plan a visit. Join us this Sunday. God has a brilliant future planned for you. Let him lead you to it.

Be blessed and live free!
