What if one of the most powerful things we could do as a church is simply come back to the table?

This fall, Pastors Steve & Jeana Pixler are inviting the households of Freedom Life Church to join them in an 8-week journey of rediscovering the Kingdom household—building our lives around the simple, powerful rhythms that marked the earliest followers of Jesus.

Acts 2:42 tells us that the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. Much of that life happened around tables, in homes, as ordinary people learned to follow Jesus together.

For eight weeks, we’re asking every participating household—whether a traditional family, roommates, friends, singles, couples, or any other expression of household—to make one simple commitment: gather around the table at least once each week to study, fellowship, break bread, and pray together.

You don’t need to host a formal church service or small group. Make a meal. Gather your people. Open the Scriptures. Talk about life and faith. Pray for one another. The goal is to recover the table as a place of discipleship, belonging, hospitality, and spiritual formation.

When you register, you’ll receive a free One Anothering Groups Guide, providing a simple study you can use each week to help your household practice the biblical “one anothers” and grow together.

Freedom Life Ministry Cohort is a place to discover, develop, and deepen your call to ministry.

If you sense that God may be calling you to ministry—or if you are already actively serving in ministry—this cohort is designed to help you grow in your calling, develop your gifts, and become more effective in serving the church and advancing the Kingdom of God.

Led by Pastor Steve Pixler, the Freedom Life Ministry Cohort provides a relational environment for interaction, coaching, equipping, and empowerment. Together, we will explore what it means to be called, equipped, and sent into ministry both within Freedom Life Church and beyond.

This cohort is for people at every stage of the ministry journey. You may already be ordained and actively serving. You may know that God has called you but aren't sure how to get started. Or you may simply be exploring a sense that God is drawing you toward ministry and want help discerning what that means.
